the birth of a web site
I did not get very much sleep today because Roel decided to run around a lot and make a ruckus between the hours of 4 A.M. and 8 A.M. This is Roel:

The only acceptable thing to do in this situation is to make a web site. I had been meaning to make a web site for a long time, but I was not sure what I would put on it, and I was worried it would be bad. And my therapist says that I should allow myself to make things without worrying if they are good. So I had the idea to make a web site that is intentionally kind of bad, and here it is.
I chose the name hemoptysis because it sounded cool, and it was on the papers I got when I went to the emergency room. I looked it up and found that it means coughing up blood, which makes sense.

I bought the domain for $3.60 (like the Xbox) and do not plan to renew it when it expires because it is going to cost more then. I originally decided to host the web site using Netlify, because I looked up free hosting using a search engine and it was one of the first results. But then I found out that Netlify only offers 20 free “deploys” per month, so I switched to Vercel, which seems to work much better.
The web site is very bad so far, and that is O.K. It is not as cool as my friend Sophie's web site or my friend danii's web site, and that is O.K. too because I am not trying to copy those exactly but rather to make my own thing.
Big things are coming so please watch this space!!!
